Description
Wessex HSD EXTRA is a high acid strength chemical descaler containing surfactants to speed penetration of deposits and scales, and inhibitors to minimise metal attack. The high acid strength is valuable in attacking the more stubborn scales whilst in dilution it will yield very economic cleaning solutions for less stringent tasks.
Uses
Removal of thin layers of concrete and cement from equipment and masonry, de-rusting and descaling metals, descaling tanks, heat exchangers, water pumps, boilers, cooling systems, pipe work etc. Metal pickling.
Removal of rust stains from concrete and masonry.
Directions of use
Wessex HSD Extra is used either as supplied or at various dilutions up to 1:12 depending upon the application involved. The maximum dilution for any task can quickly be established by trial and error. In diluting HSD extra it should be added to water, not the reverse. Different solutions can be used by any convenient method of descaling Application to surface, immersion, or circulation. The descaled items should be well rinsed with clean water after use.
Keep from freezing
If it freezes, bring to room temperature and stir to restore performance.
