Water Lubricated Shaft Bearings
Selection of water lubricated stern tube bearings in metric, imperial and metric/imperial size combinations. Water lubricated shaft bearings or cutlass bearings, as they are sometimes known are fitted to stern tubes and P brackets to support the propeller shaft . Water lubricated bearing come in either marine bronze or phenolic housings - The phenolic bearings are corrosion resistant and therefore suitable mixed metal environments where cathodic action could occur.
