Solid particulates and free water are practically unavoidable in diesel fuel and gasoline. Their presence often leads to the formation of bacteria, corrosive acids, and rust, which can cause plugged filters, damaged components, decreased combustion efficiency, and engine downtime.

Racor 025 Series fuel Pre-filters are the first line of defense in protecting against engine damage by keeping fuel clean and dry. These small strainers/pre filters feature a heavy-duty die-cast aluminum mounting head, a ~250 micron cleanable nylon mesh screen  and a reusable see-thru water and sediment collection bowl
