Description

The Jabsco Pulley Large 37171-0000 is specifically designed for use with the following Jabsco Shower Drain pumps. In a shower drain system, the pump needs to activate whenever there's water in the drain sump. The pulley helps in transferring mechanical power from the pump's motor to the impeller, ensuring efficient water movement.

Installation

Belt Replacement

Remove four (4) screws (2) that secure the pulley assembly to the motor shaft. Slide pulley assembly off the motor shaft.
Loosen the two (2) screws (3) that secure the pulley to the drive rod. Remove pulley from drive rod.
Install new pulley on drive rod. Tighten the two (2) screws (3) securely.
Reassemble in reverse order. Ensure that the pulley is aligned with the motor shaft.

Connecting the drive rod

Remove the two (2) screws (4) that secure the drive rod to the diaphragm.
Install new drive rod by aligning the holes in the rod with the holes in the diaphragm. Secure with the two (2) screws (4).
Ensure that the drive rod is connected to the diaphragm and that the diaphragm is connected to the pump body.
