Deks Olje pronounced "Deks Olya" is a varnish-like system with a proven track record in the marine environment for over 50 years.

Consisting of 2 elements, D1 & D2, Deks Olje will give long life protection to both Soft and hardwoods while enhancing the woods natural beauty. The beauty of wood is largely due to the fact that it was once a living, natural material. Once felled, the natural oils in the timber dry out, a process not prevented by coating with a surface only treatment. The Deks Olje system is different in that it penetrates to the heart of the wood. Deks Olje D1 is the special oil that saturates the wood, literally feeding it with oil to replace those lost. Driving out moisture and air, filling the woods pores with oil, it enriches and stabilises to provide lasting protection to interior and exterior timber.

Owatrol Deks Olje D2 provides a tough, flexible and durable surface that is easy to maintain. 

Easy to apply, the more coats of D2 that are applied the higher the gloss finish and there is no need to sand between coats. 
Unlike traditional varnishes, D2 will not craze or blister, and because of D1's penetrating qualities, will not peel or flake as water is unable to get into the wood where it can also cause unsightly stains. 

D2 provides a tough, flexible and durable surface that is easy to maintain.

Deks Olje D1 & D2  is suitable for all wood types, interior or exterior, new or old.

• Exterior : garden furnitures, window & door frames, gates,...
• Interior: paneling, door, window frames,...

Direction of use

• Apply 6 coats of DEKS OLJE D.2
• Allow minimum 12 hours drying between coats
• No sanding between coats
• Allow to dry minimum 3-4 days before putting back into service
• Note: clean any dripping or spots of Deks Olje D2 from surface before the product  dries. Once dry, spots will form and will be very hard to eliminate. It is therefore imperative  to eliminate any spots right after the application.
