This is a fully rated lifejacket and entirely safe for you child. It will float them in the correct position, whether they are swimmers or non-swimmers and even if they are in unconscious state,, without any outside intervention.

Care and maintenance

After use the lifejacket should be rinsed in fresh water and hung up to dry and stored in a well ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Wash only by hand in lukewarm water using a mild detergent.
